Dana White’s Contender Series rolls into Week 7 tonight with five more fights at the Meta APEX and another 10 prospects trying to leave Las Vegas with a spot on the UFC roster.
Season 10 has already sent 28 fighters to the UFC through six episodes. Last week’s card added four more contracts after Mayton Perea, Igor Cavalcanti, Akbar Abdullaev and Luis Hernandez each finished their opponents.
Week 7 brings five undefeated fighters to the cage, including a matchup between unbeaten welterweights Alvi Dasuyev and Jaden Ortega. The lightweight bout between Piero Guaylupo and Callum Connor also puts two perfect professional records on the line.
The night concludes at middleweight, where Norbert Novenyi Jr. meets Theo Haig. Novenyi has won three straight fights since suffering the first loss of his career, while Haig returns to the Contender Series for a second opportunity after competing on the show last season.
All 10 fighters made weight Monday. The five-fight card begins at 7 p.m. ET from the Meta APEX in Las Vegas and streams live on Paramount+.
Dana White’s Contender Series Week 7 Odds at Hard Rock Bet
Novenyi is tied with Marcos Degli as the largest favorite on tonight’s card at -425. The closest matchup at Hard Rock Bet comes at lightweight, where Guaylupo is -120 against Connor at -105.

DWCS Week 7 Preview
The card opens at light heavyweight before Novenyi and Haig take center stage in the middleweight finale.
Damian Piwowarczyk (-130) vs. Emilio Quissua (+105)
Week 7 begins with a light heavyweight battle between Damian Piwowarczyk and Emilio Quissua.
Piwowarczyk enters at 11-4 after spending the majority of his professional career competing for KSW. The 28-year-old has strung together three consecutive victories to earn his opportunity on the Contender Series.
Quissua brings an 8-0 record to Las Vegas and has finished his opponent in five of those victories. His last two opponents were both stopped inside the distance as he continued his unbeaten start.
The German-based prospect trains at Planet Eater under former UFC competitors Peter Sobotta and Denys Bondar. Quissua weighed in at 204.5 pounds Monday, while Piwowarczyk hit the light heavyweight limit at 205.
Piero Guaylupo (-120) vs. Callum Connor (-105)
Something has to give when two unbeaten lightweights meet in one of the most closely priced fights on the Week 7 card.
Piero Guaylupo has moved quickly through the regional scene despite being only 21 years old. The Peruvian prospect owns an 11-0 professional record, with 10 of those victories coming before the final bell.
Finishing opponents has been a constant throughout Guaylupo’s rise, but Tuesday represents a step up in competition against another fighter who has yet to experience a professional defeat.
Callum Connor arrives from Manchester Top Team with an 8-0 record. He returned from knee surgery earlier this year and won his first fight back in April, setting up his opportunity to compete for a UFC contract.
Guaylupo and Connor have combined to win all 19 of their professional fights, making this the first of two undefeated-versus-undefeated matchups on Tuesday’s card.
Marcos Degli (-425) vs. Paris Moran (+325)
Marcos Degli enters Week 7 with the longest active winning streak on the card.
The Brazilian flyweight has won 12 consecutive fights to improve his record to 14-3. Thirteen of those 14 victories have ended inside the distance, giving Degli one of the highest finishing rates among this week’s prospects.
His recent run includes capturing the LFA flyweight championship and successfully defending the belt twice. He now attempts to continue a familiar pipeline from the LFA flyweight division to the UFC.
Paris Moran brings a different type of résumé into the matchup. The Texas-based flyweight has repeatedly faced opponents who later reached the UFC or competed on the Contender Series, including Joshua Van, Alden Coria and Jacob Silva.
Moran enters Tuesday as the reigning Fury FC flyweight champion after defeating Roybert Echeverria in his most recent appearance. That victory earned him a shot at the UFC roster against a fighter who has not lost since 2021.
Both flyweights weighed in at 125.5 pounds Monday.
Alvi Dasuyev (-240) vs. Jaden Ortega (+195)
The second battle between unbeaten fighters features Alvi Dasuyev and Jaden Ortega at welterweight.
Dasuyev has started his professional career 9-0, and every victory has come by stoppage. Eight of those nine fights ended in the opening round, with only one opponent making it beyond the first five minutes.
Ortega is 6-0 and has produced five finishes of his own. Each of his last four victories has ended inside the distance as he has worked his way toward Tuesday’s matchup.
He’ll attempt to become the first fighter to solve Dasuyev as a professional while protecting his own undefeated record in the process.
Norbert Novenyi Jr. (-425) vs. Theo Haig (+325)
Norbert Novenyi Jr. arrives in Las Vegas with significantly more major-promotion experience than the typical Contender Series prospect.
The 26-year-old went 6-0 during his first six appearances with Bellator and carried an undefeated record into his 2024 meeting with Dalton Rosta. Novenyi suffered a majority decision loss that night, the only defeat of his career.
His response has been decisive. Novenyi has won three consecutive fights since the Rosta loss, and all three have ended in the first round. He enters Week 7 with a 10-1 record and nine finishes among his 10 victories.
Theo Haig already knows what it is like to compete with a UFC contract at stake.
Haig made his first Contender Series appearance during Season 9 against Cezary Oleksiejczuk, suffering the first loss of his professional career. He returned to competition at LFA 227 in February and secured a second-round submission to improve to 7-1.
None of Haig’s seven victories have reached the judges, setting up a main event between two middleweights who have combined for 16 finishes in 17 professional wins.
